At the end of each semester we offer each parent/guardian the opportunity to provide input on their experience with College Steps. We really appreciate all the insight and data these survey’s provide.

What does College Steps do really well?
“Provide opportunities that would be impossible other wise. The program is creative, inclusive, effective and has given my son an environment in which to learn and grow . He has developed positively in all areas. The full days and creative targeted approach of the program is outstanding. It is great to have my son in a program which provides support as a stepping stone. He has build confidence and skills that will have long term benefits.”
“Accommodates those who need extra help both socially and academically and provides a better transition to adult life and employment.”
“Provides a supportive inclusive environment to people with all types of disabilities. Make them feel just like everyone else without judgement or prejudice. The mentors provide real friendships and support to the individuals to make them successful.”
What does College Steps’ Program Coordinator do really well?
“He pushes her to do things without making it overwhelming for her. It’s exactly what she needs. Friends and family has noticed a difference since school has begun.”
“I like the communication, specifically the Google Sheet with weekly updates. I also like that the coordinators suggest teachers and courses based on prior experiences with other Steps students.”
“Communicate. Speak to my daughter respectfully, while explaining some of the realities of college.”
